New on Fabo: DCA MEAL Learning Hub
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning
DanChurchAid (DCA) has launched a new MEAL Learning Hub on Fabo, a digital learning space and practical guide designed to support staff and partners working with Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) across programmes and contexts worldwide.
The hub brings together guidance, tools, templates, examples, and learning resources in one accessible place, making it easier for colleagues and partners to navigate MEAL processes and apply them in their daily work.

Why MEAL Learning Hub?
MEAL plays a central role in strengthening programme quality, accountability, learning, and evidence-informed decision-making. Yet MEAL systems, tools, and approaches can often feel fragmented or difficult to access, especially across global organisations working in diverse contexts.
The DCA MEAL Learning Hub was developed to address this challenge by creating a shared digital space where staff and partners can learn, explore, and access practical resources whenever they need them.
Structured as both a learning space and a digital guide, the hub supports users through different stages of the programme cycle and helps translate MEAL concepts into practical action.

What does the Hub include?
The hub includes a wide range of practical and learning-oriented resources, including:
- Step-by-step guidance on MEAL approaches and processes
- Templates and tools for planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
- Practical examples and learning materials
- Resources to support accountability and learning practices
- Guidance that can be adapted across different country and programme contexts
The aim is not only to provide information, but also to strengthen confidence and consistency in how MEAL is understood and applied across teams and partnerships.
Supporting global collaboration and learning
By making the hub available on Fabo, DCA creates a shared learning environment that can be accessed by staff and partners across countries, departments, and programme areas.
The platform makes it easier to continuously update resources, share learning, and ensure that practical guidance remains accessible to colleagues working in different locations and operational contexts.
The initiative also reflects the value of collaborative learning within civil society organisations, where knowledge sharing, accessibility, and practical application are essential for strengthening programmes and partnerships.
Access for Fabo member organisations
The DCA MEAL Learning Hub is currently available to DCA staff and partners on Fabo. However, member organisations interested in exploring the hub and its approach are welcome to reach out for access.
The hub offers an example of how digital learning spaces can support organisational learning, strengthen shared practices, and make internal knowledge more accessible across teams and partnerships.
