Collaborate with other members and co-create projects WORKING GROUPS

WORKING GROUPS

The idea with working groups is to foster collaboration and
co-creation among member organisations within the community.

Learning Support

Why participate in this working group?
  • To get support from Fabo members in designing learning experiences that lead to real change by engaging learners and by using online and blended learning methods
  • Identify thematic and methodological synergies across projects and organisations
  • Share inspiration and good cases with one another
How to engage?

Conversations take place in discussion forums and online meetings. How often we meet depends on group members. The minimum is four times per year in Fabo Community Week.

Preventing sexual misconduct in NGO work

Why join this working group?

In recent years, high-profile cases of sexual misconduct have come to the fore. We know that misconduct takes place in our sector, and the need for NGOs to acquire competencies to prevent and handle sexual misconduct is more urgent than ever. Join this group to engage with other organisations on best practices and to create learning materials and guides to educate staff and partners on prevention of sexual misconduct in NGO work.

How to engage?

We are currently (in first quarter of 2021) setting up a working group to drive this development forward and to narrow the co-creation scope.

Fabo Tech Group

Why join this working group?

Take part in the technological development of the Fabo virtual learning environment. Have a say in how our platform improves and what features and tools are needed to continue creating quality content for our learners. Some areas of focus will be enhanced learning flow and editing, optimised learning management, improved Fabo app, and addition of more languages.

How to engage?

The group is being established in the first quarter of 2021. Activity depends on group members and contributions.
