What is accessibility and how do we create an accessible learning site? An accessible website is a website that everyone can perceive, understand, navigate, interact with, and contribute to, without facing any barrier.

According to surveys, one in five people have an impairment (visual, hearing, physical or cognitive), that affects the way they use the internet. Without accessible standards, 20% of the population would encounter difficulties navigating websites.

Here at Fabo, we were very fortunate to collaborate with the Disabled People’s Organisations Denmark (DPOD), an umbrella organisation for 34 Danish disability organisations, on making fabo.org accessible and compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
