Applications are now closed for the ACT Advocacy Academy 2024

Thank you to the 118 applicants from 31 countries who applied for this year's programme.

Thanks to the generous support of the donors : ACT Alliance, Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Christian Aid, Diakonia, Folkekirkens Nødhjælp (DanChurchAid), and Kerk in Actie as well as staff across ACT Alliance who have volunteered to be coaches, we are delighted to announce that 80 participants will be joining the academy this year!

What is the ACT Advocacy Academy?

This global capacity-building initiative is designed to empower the ACT Alliance members with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to drive impactful advocacy efforts.

Act Alliance is lobal faith-based coalition organized in national and regional forums operating in more than 120 countries representing 140 members working on humanitarian aid, gender and climate justice, migration and displacement, and peace and security to support local communities.

ACT Alliance invited ACT members and partners, members of national and regional ecumenical bodies and councils of churches, to the ACT Advocacy Academy - a global capacity building initiative focused on advocacy, where participants learn from experienced colleagues, share their own views and skills, and receive support for implementation of concrete advocacy actions.

The Academy Programme runs from August to December 2024.
